Child Safety

Toddler Games is built from the ground up to be safe for young children. Here's how.

Ad-free, always

Toddler Games is completely ad-free. Your child will never see advertisements, promotional content, or sponsored links.

No data collection

We don't collect personal information, don't require accounts, and don't track individual users. The only data stored is a mute preference in the browser.

No social features

There are no chat rooms, messaging, user profiles, friend lists, or any way for users to communicate with each other.

Calming by design

Games use soft colours, gentle sounds, and calming animations. No flashing lights, no loud noises, no time pressure. The UK's 2026 EYSTAG report recommends slow-paced content with simple backgrounds for under-5s. That's how every game here is built.

No persuasive design

There are no points, stars, badges, streaks, or in-app purchase prompts. Research shows these features make it harder for young children to disengage from apps. Our games use narrative completion instead: the child makes something, the story ends, and there's nothing to chase.

For parents

Toddler Games is designed for toddlers playing under adult supervision. While the app is safe for independent play, we recommend staying nearby.

The home and reset buttons in the game require a long press (hold for half a second) to prevent accidental taps by small fingers. More about this on our help page.

Every phone and tablet has a built-in mode that locks the screen to one app, so edge swipes and stray taps can't exit it. Setup takes about 30 seconds. Walk-through here.

You can mute all game sounds using the speaker icon in the game header.

Our design choices are informed by published child development research and current guidance from the AAP (2026) and UK EYSTAG (2026). Toddler Games is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or clinically validated by these organisations. For concerns about your child's development, speak to your GP or paediatrician.
